TAMPA BAY, Fla. – The Tampa Bay Lightning, NHL parent club of the Admirals, have recalled forward Brandon Bochenski from the Admirals, Lightning Executive Vice President and General Manager Brian Lawton announced today.
Bochenski, a 27-year-old, 6-foot-1, 187-pound right wing out of Blaine, Minnesota, leads the Admirals in goals and points. In 42 games with Norfolk, the sixth-year pro has 21 goals and 19 assists for 40 points.
Bochenski became the AHL Admirals all-time leading goal scorer with his 77th career Norfolk goal on February 17 at Hartford. In 146 career games as an Admiral, he has 81 goals and 78 assists for 159 points. Bochenski is the AHL Admirals all-time leader in goals, power play goals (34) and game-winning goals (15) while ranking fourth in points and seventh in assists.
Bochenski also holds the record for most goals in a single AHL Admirals game (4, 11/25/06 vs. Philadelphia), co-owns the record for most assists in a single game (4, 11/18/06 vs. Binghamton) and co-owns the record for longest point streak in AHL Admirals history (14 games from 11/12/06 – 12/27/06).
In 256 career AHL games between the Admirals, Providence Bruins and Binghamton Senators, Bochenski has 138 goals and 276 points. Bochenski was named a starter to the 2010 AHL All-Star Classic but was unable to attend due to NHL recall. It was the third time Bochenski had been named an AHL All-Star.

Bochenski has appeared in 140 career NHL games between the Lightning, Anaheim Ducks, Nashville Predators, Boston Bruins, Chicago Blackhawks and Ottawa Senators, scoring 25 goals and 35 assists for 60 points. Bochenski was signed by the Lightning to a two-year contract on July 8, 2008. He was originally drafted by Ottawa in the seventh round (223rd overall) in 2001.
