The 2012-13 season marks the first for Joe Guilmet as Equipment Manager of the Norfolk Admirals, but his second as the Equipment Manager of the top AHL affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks. Last season, Guilmet was Equipment Manager of the Ducks' former AHL affiliate, the Syracuse Crunch.
Prior to joining the Ducks organization, Guilmet spent the 12 seasons with the Atlanta Thrashers, most recently serving as the team's Equipment Manager. Prior to his time in Atlanta, Guilmet spent nine seasons in the International Hockey League, splitting time with the Orlando Solar Bears (1995-99) and San Diego Gulls (1991-95). A native of San Diego, California, Guilmet served as the equipment manager for Team USA at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy and at the 2001, 2008 and 2009 World Championships.
