ANAHEIM, Calif. – The Anaheim Ducks announced Monday that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled right wing Devante Smith-Pelly from the Norfolk Admirals, Anaheim’s primary development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL).
Smith-Pelly heads back to Anaheim after posting two goals and a +2 rating in four games played for the Admirals this season. Both of his goals were shorthanded tallies, which currently leads the American Hockey League.

He appeared in his first contest with the Ducks at 19 years, three months and 23 days on Oct. 7, 2011, at Buffalo (Helsinki, Finland), becoming the third-youngest player to appear in an Anaheim uniform. In 56 career NHL games, Smith-Pelly has seven goals and 13 points with 16 PIM.
