BUSINESS MANAGER

Responsibilities:
  • Maintain team’s accounting books, which includes making daily entries as needed.
  • Process all expenditures while maintaining open communication with team’s Vice President on said expenditures.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of various accounts.
  • Prepare annual and fiscal financial statements for team’s ownership group while maintaining an open line of communication with them on the financial position of the company.
  • Serve as a liaison between the organization and the parent club with regards to various expenditures.
  • Oversee and enforce organization’s internal control system.
  • Manage game night revenue streams.
  • Complete other projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university.
Ideal Candidate:
  • Two years relevant experience in a professional work environment preferred.
  • Has excellent organizational skills and is able to multi-task.
  • Is willing to work nights and weekends during the hockey season.
  • Has experience with Microsoft Excel and PeachTree Accounting or similar software.

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Responsibilities:
  • Must be comfortable making phone calls on a daily basis.
  • Expected to make both group and season ticket sales.
Salary:
  • Base salary + commission.
