SPRINGFIELD, Mass. Ė The American Hockey League today announced that Norfolk Admirals forward Peter Holland has been named to the Eastern Conference roster for the 2013 Dunkin' Donuts AHL All-Star Classic, to take place Jan. 27-28 in Providence, R.I.
Holland, 6-foot-2, 192 pounds, has appeared in 34 games with the Admirals this season, registering 12 goals and 31 points with 58 penalty minutes. He leads the Admirals in points and assists (19) while ranking second in goals. In 108 career AHL games between the Admirals and Syracuse Crunch, Holland has posted 38 goals and 97 points with 117 penalty minutes.
The 21-year-old native of Toronto, Ontario, is currently on NHL recall to Norfolk's NHL parent club, the Anaheim Ducks. In four career NHL games with the Ducks, Holland has one goal and two penalty minutes. Holland was selected by Anaheim in the first round (15th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
Prior to turning professional, Holland played four seasons of junior hockey with the Ontario Hockey League's Guelph Storm. In 256 games with the Storm, Holland scored 103 goals and 257 points with 170 penalty minutes.

The 2013 Dunkiní Donuts AHL All-Star Classic in Providence will feature the top young talent in the American Hockey League. Of the 597 players to take part in the AHL All-Star Classic since the event was reinstated in 1995, more than 92 percent have competed in the National Hockey League, including Patrice Bergeron, Daniel Briere, Dustin Brown, Ryan Callahan, Mike Cammalleri, Zdeno Chara, Miikka Kiprusoff, Ryan Miller, Zach Parise, Tuukka Rask, Pekka Rinne, Bobby Ryan, Martin St. Louis, Cory Schneider, Jason Spezza and Eric Staal.
